Their problem
This case is an example of emergency response to damage caused by heavy rain.
Normally, when rainwater accumulates in an underground rainwater tank, a rainwater pump installed in the tank automatically discharges the rainwater into the public sewerage system.
The magnet switch that controls the rainwater pump was out of order, which prevented the pump from operating. This caused a large amount of rainwater to accumulate in the rainwater tank, thereby triggering a full water alarm. If rainwater were not properly discharged to the public sewerage system, the basement may have been flooded.
