Eliminating concerns before purchase by conducting tests on actual equipment and renting a dewatering machine

Their problem

The plant generates sludge from two systems: industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater. For many years, sludge from industrial wastewater was dewatered with a filter press dewatering machine, but sludge from domestic wastewater was transported as liquid. Therefore, when renewing the dewatering machine, they were considering a model capable of dewatering not only industrial wastewater but also domestic wastewater.

AMCON’s solution

We first determined whether dewatering was feasible by conducting a sample test. However, the customer was uncertain about the dewatering machine, which was completely different from the filter press they had been using for many years. So, we brought the actual machine to the site to conduct a test. Although the test results were favorable, they wanted to eliminate various uncertainties through continuous use, thus the machine was rented for approximately one month so that they could actually operate it.
