SECTION 02About AMCON

In 1974, we began our business by providing maintenance services for wastewater treatment facilities.
By working closely with customers on site, we gradually expanded our business into environmental analysis, drainpipe cleaning, and 24-hour remote monitoring services for building facilities. Over time, we evolved into a company that develops and manufactures its own equipment.
In 1991, we developed the VOLUTE™ Dewatering Press, featuring a unique design unlike anything the industry had seen before. Today, our products are used by customers in 78 countries and regions around the world.
Yet our journey is far from over.
We continue to take on new challenges as we evolve beyond the role of a sludge treatment equipment manufacturer into a comprehensive water treatment solutions provider capable of addressing a wide range of water treatment needs.
Our aspiration is to contribute to a better future for the global water environment, to grow together with the communities we serve as a trusted partner, and to be a company that every employee can take pride in.
Step by step, we continue moving forward to make that vision a reality.

Being chosen by customers in 78 countries and regions is a testament to the trust we have built over many years.
Most recently, we achieved our highest earnings ever and have established a clear growth vision toward our 60th fiscal year in 2034.
With a solid foundation in the essential field of water treatment, we continue striving for our next stage of growth and innovation.
That is one of our greatest strengths.

Every Individual Makes a Difference

As an organization of approximately 100 employees, every individual plays an important role.
Our team members are entrusted with broad responsibilities and are encouraged to think independently, communicate their ideas, and collaborate with others to move projects forward.
It may not always be the easiest environment, but it offers countless opportunities to experience personal and professional growth.
Regardless of age or years of service, employees at AMCON INC. are given significant responsibility from an early stage in their careers. By working on the front lines, they develop expertise and technical skills through real-world experience.
This is a workplace where you can continuously challenge yourself and grow.

A Unique Strength Created by Three Integrated Businesses

A Unique Strength Created by Three Integrated Businesses

A Unique Strength Created by Three Integrated Businesses

Few companies in our industry can provide all three services under one roof: the development and manufacturing of water treatment equipment, environmental and water quality analysis, and building water supply and drainage maintenance.
For our customers, this means the convenience and confidence of having a single trusted partner for all water-related needs.
For us, it represents a unique competitive position that is difficult to replicate.
Many companies specialize in only one of these fields. Very few have the capability to integrate them into a comprehensive solution.
This unique combination is one of AMCON INC.'s greatest strengths.

SECTION 03Why This Industry?

Turn on a faucet, and clean water flows. Used water is properly treated and safely returned to nature. People can use water every day in office buildings and apartment complexes without a second thought.
What we often take for granted is actually supported by advanced technologies and specialized expertise.
As environmental awareness continues to grow, the role of this industry has expanded beyond simply maintaining everyday life. Today, it plays a vital role in reducing environmental impact and promoting the sustainable circulation of water resources.
This is an industry where you can develop specialized skills that will last a lifetime while making a meaningful contribution to society and the future of our planet.

The Water Treatment Industry

The water treatment industry purifies wastewater, reduces sludge volume, and protects the natural environment. In many ways, it serves as the "kidneys of the Earth."
Although it is an essential industry with significant environmental impact, many people are still unfamiliar with the important role it plays in society.

Technologies Supporting the Water Cycle

Water is carefully managed throughout every stage of its lifecycle—from water quality control before use, to wastewater treatment after use, and finally to sludge reduction and resource recovery.
When each of these processes functions properly, water pollution is prevented, environmental impact is reduced, and rivers, lakes, and oceans are protected.
By supporting every stage of this continuous cycle, the water treatment industry plays an indispensable role in sustaining society.

A Growing Market with Strong Future Potential

According to estimates by various research organizations, the global water treatment market is expected to reach approximately USD 300–370 billion in 2025 and continue its steady growth, driven by population growth, urbanization, and increasingly stringent environmental regulations.
In addition, initiatives such as sludge recycling and other circular economy solutions continue to expand, creating significant opportunities for technological innovation.
Knowing that your daily work ultimately helps return clean water to nature is one of the most rewarding aspects of this industry.

The Environmental & Water Quality Analysis Industry

Environmental and water quality analysis makes invisible risks visible and provides scientific proof of safety through data.
It plays a fundamental role in protecting public health and ensuring a safe living environment.
As companies strengthen their environmental initiatives and public awareness of health continues to increase, demand for analytical services continues to grow across businesses, government agencies, and individuals alike.

Proving Safety Through Data

Whether testing drinking water, industrial wastewater, or the water quality of public facilities, analytical data is essential for objectively demonstrating that water is safe.
Beyond protecting human health, analytical data also serves as critical information for preserving the natural environment.
Although much of the work takes place behind the scenes, this industry provides an essential foundation for both environmental protection and everyday life.

Building a Career Through Specialized Expertise

Professionals in this field develop highly specialized knowledge, including environmental regulations, sample handling, and analytical instrument operation.
The more experience you gain, the greater your expertise becomes.
This is a profession dedicated to delivering invisible value to society through science and technology.

The Building Water Supply & Drainage Maintenance Industry

Maintaining building water supply and drainage systems is one of the most direct ways to support people's daily lives. No matter how impressive a building may be, life cannot function without reliable water supply and drainage systems. Proper maintenance also helps prevent water leaks and wastewater discharge, contributing to the conservation of water resources and reducing environmental impact.
As buildings continue to age throughout Japan, the importance of this industry continues to grow.

Protecting the "Lifelines" of Our Cities

Water supply and drainage systems are the lifelines of every building. As long as buildings exist, maintenance will always be essential, creating stable demand that is relatively unaffected by economic conditions. With the continued aging of infrastructure, demand for maintenance—including pipe rehabilitation and replacement—is expected to grow even further. Professionals in this field develop practical expertise in piping systems, pumps, and control equipment, steadily increasing their long-term career value.

The Reward of Receiving Appreciation Directly

When unexpected water-related problems are resolved, it is not uncommon to hear residents say, "Thank you—you really helped us." These are moments that cannot be experienced through desk work alone.
Through advanced technical expertise, this industry continues to support comfortable living from behind the scenes. It is truly one of the unsung heroes of modern society.
